Who We Are
As the world's first publisher of commercial open source textbooks, Flat World Knowledge is disrupting the entire business model in the college text industry. We publish premier textbooks written by leading experts. Students access their online texts for free or purchase affordable alternatives from paperback editions, audio chapters, .pdf files and more. Flat World openly licenses their books and provides a platform so faculty can modify the book and deliver a customized version to their students. Our new model has saved students over $3 million in Fall, 2009 alone.

More Than Just an Internship…
As one of 10 Students from across the country, you will have a vital role in the revolution that promises to change the way people think about college textbooks. The Campus Rep Program entails:
• Introducing business faculty on campus to our celebrated start-up.
• Up to 10 hours per week from January-April, 2010.
• Generating sales leads for Flat World Knowledge representatives.
• Weekly reporting of the results of your interactions.
• Creating and finding on-campus (and around campus) public relations opportunities.
• Collaborating with fellow Campus Rep Team members to brainstorm creative new ideas.
• Regular contact with Program Director.
• $8 per hour with additional bonus potential.
• Recruiting your replacement for the following semester (unless you stay on with us).
